1.Abstract (Informative abstracts only) (3%)
The abstract clearly states briefly the purpose of the work, the principal results of the review and Major conclusions).
The abstract is presented separately from the article and stands alone.
References were avoided, but where essential, only the author(s) and year(s) were cited. Also, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations were avoided, but if essential they were defined at their first mention in the abstract itself.
The abstract did not count more than 400 words.
2.Introduction (7%)
States the objectives of the work
Provides an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results
3.Main Body (40%)
As a minimum:
Review and present recent work/advances on your selected option
Extensively analyse data from literature to show how new technologies impacts on drilling and well completion
Extensively review and analyse advances and best practices
Present lessons learned
4.Discussion (15%)
This explores the significance of the results of the work, but does not repeat them.
Avoids extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
5.Summary and concluding remarks (5%)
The main conclusions of the study are presented in a short conclusions section, which may standalone or form a subsection of the main section
