Cultural appropriation is a hot topic in the fashion industry. Explain what it means to someone who does not know what that is with two examples (discussed or not discussed in class). Where, when or how do you draw the line between appropriation and appreciation? Can it be somewhere in-between the two and simply be cultural borrowing?
