Choose a law, regulation, rule, or standard set by the State Board of Nursing. Provide a summary and explanation of the law, regulation, rule, or standard, explaining specific aspects and the importance/significance/purpose those aspects. Provide a real-life example of an instance where the law, regulation, rule, or standard was not followed and the ensuing consequences to the nurse, patients, employers, etc. Reflect on what might have been different if the law, regulation, rule, or standard was followed.
