Multimedia networking is a very special aspect of computer networking and there is a couple of research that looks to understand its unique considerations. A multimedia information system is one that can create, import, integrate, store, retrieve, edit, and delete two or more types of media materials in digital forms, such as audio, image, full-motion video, and text information. Multimedia information systems play a central role in many business activities. They represent a very special class of complex computing systems. They consist of various components, applications and principles and the assignment portfolio will look to explain some of the very important concepts of multimedia networking.
The core part of this assignment is that you develop a detailed portfolio case study that has taken full consideration of the discussed topics during the lectures and in recommended readings. The report portfolio will be covering five main areas (these areas are listed in the assignment overview in section 2 of this document) in multimedia networking to help test and grade the understanding of the module.

2. Assignment Overview
Write a detailed report on multimedia networking from the learning. This report should cover the following sections:
Part A. 1. Understanding of Internet, protocol, and Network 2. Threaded and Socket communication (max 500 words)
Part B. End to end Reliable communication, especially TCP/IP (max 500 words)
Part C. Understanding of VoIP and how it relates to TCP and the UDP protocol (max 1000 words)
