GUIDE FOR PROJECT PROPOSAL MUST FOLLOW.

1. Introduction
   • Describe the general area to be studied in this project (see Guide-1).
   • Identify a specific topic of study and its context (i.e., company/department).
   • Explain the problem/issue you intend to study and its significance.
2. Statement of the Problem
   State the problem to be studied in a brief and concise manner. Conclude this with a proposed title for your project.
3. Background/ Review of the Literature
   Briefly review the existing literature, which bears on the stated problem. Your focus will be to:
   • Summarize what is already known about the topic.
   • Make sure to cite all works mentioned throughout the research proposal.
   • References should be listed in an acceptable format (for example APA style).
4. Methodology
   This section should describe the procedures and techniques for carrying out the project and should include at least the following points:
   a. The nature of the data/information to be collected,
   b. The methods for collecting the data and its sources.
5. Analysis Plan
   You may include in the proposal, your plan on how you are going to analyze the problem, and what techniques do you intend to use.
6. Time Table
   In the proposal, you must specify the number of weeks for each of the suggested steps in the outline. Remember, you should complete and submit the final report before the end of the summer term.
