Instructions:
A review article should provide an update of a research area or a major question/controversy in the field. The student should review the key literature and
then evaluate the field, take a perspective and explain why they support that perspective. The paper should cite a minimum of 15 original research references
in addition to review articles and other references. The references should be cited following the format of one of the prestigious scientific journals. In
addition to the text, the review article should contain an abstract of 200-250 words.
Perspective:
The paper should be regarding 5-HT2A receptors and their applicability for antidepressant treatments through the use of hallucinogens. This paper should be
showing that these 5HT-2A receptors show promising results for various types of depression and be able to clearly detail and focus on the mechanism and
pathway that these receptors use to mediate their subjective and neurobiological effects.
