Arrange a Strategic Plan for a Non-Profit

While the criminal justice system in a location does its best to address the needs of a community, it can face difficulty. Systemic problems such as drug addiction, child abuse, and domestic violence are often not handled with a nuanced approach other than arrest and incarceration by the criminal justice system itself.
Just as you identified problems within your state and provided your specific recommendation to solve these issues in the last assignment, you will now have an opportunity to arrange a strategic plan for a non-profit organization to supplement the existing criminal justice system in your location. As a basic proposal, the focus is on the problem and what your proposed non-profit organization would attempt to do to help resolve that problem in your state or local community.
You can choose to design your criminal justice-focused non-profit organization, but some suggestions to consider include choosing to describe:

1. An organization that bridges the communication and criminal justice planning between law enforcement and the community at large and serves as an advocate for people with complaints against law enforcement.
2. An organization that assists the immigrant community in a location to have a better relationship with law enforcement and the court system.
3. An organization focused on at-risk teens to help provide diversion programs rather than being incarcerated within the criminal justice system.
   Be sure to address the following in your paper:
    Include the name of your non-profit organization and its mission statement.
    Identify the main goal of your non-profit.
    Include the resources needed to start your non-profit.
    Explain the basis for your organization and how it would be like other non-profit organizations found in the nation.
    Discuss possible problems and/or shortcomings your non-profit may encounter and how you would solve them.
   Length: 5 to 7-page paper, not including title and reference pages
   Include a minimum of 7 scholarly resources.
   The completed assignment should address all the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations, and current APA standards, and adhere to the Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
